Logan Public Arts Master Plan

Facilitating a value-based Public Art Master Plan that resulted in the creation of Logan’s first public art program which will be sustainable, robust, and aligned with community priorities.

THE CHALLENGE

To create a comprehensive master plan that would establish Logan’s first public art program and lead the implementation of public art in a fiscally responsible way that aligns with broad community values.

THE STORY

In 2019, Logan City officially kicked off the Public Arts Master Plan process and began identifying the goals, needs, opportunities, and standards for public art. This Public Arts Master Plan provides a roadmap that will guide the growth of a new Public Art Program in Logan City that aligns with the needs and interests of the community it serves. Built upon community values, identity, and priorities, the Public Art Program is intended to seamlessly blend with and inform the city’s overall future development plans. This plan signifies that as Logan City continues to grow and evolve, public art will play an integral role in humanizing public spaces while driving both community and economic development.
