Utah Division of Arts & Museums Strategic Plan
Coalescing the long-range direction of Utah’s State arts and museums agency.
The Challenge
In 2017, the Utah Division of Arts & Museums (UA&M) embarked on a strategic-planning process. UA&M conducted listening tours, stakeholder surveys, and cultural climate assessments.
In summer 2018, Union Creative Agency was contracted to host a strategic-planning retreat, consult with agency staff and board members, complete the strategic plan, and present the strategic plan at UA&M’s annual joint meeting.

The Outcome
Union Creative Agency led several strategic-planning meetings with internal stakeholders in order to effectively craft a strategic plan that lays out the strategic direction for UA&M long into the future. The plan is currently being drafted and will be made accessible upon adoption.
